Originally from Beirut, Lebanon, Bedo Demirdjian has received his secondary education at the Melkonian Educational Institute in Cyprus and has studied Economics at the University of Peireaus in Greece. Bedo’s broad and diverse work experience includes serving as the Communications and PR Director for the European Armenian Federation for Justice and Democracy in Brussels, Belgium, working for the Artsakh Permanent Representative’s office to the Middle East in Beirut, Lebanon and as the Operations and Business Manager of the COAF SMART Center in Lori, Armenia. Bedo has also been a regular contributor to media both in Armenia and the Diaspora. His English translation of Soghomon Tehlirian’s memoir – "Remembrances: The Assassination of Talaat Pasha" – was published in September 2022 by the Gomidas Institute in London, UK. Our outgoing PR director, Rupen Janbazian, introduced a number of important changes and did much to raise the Foundation's profile in the past 2 difficult years for Artsakh and Armenia.
