Home Heating for Artsakh Refugees

Home Heating for Artsakh Refugees

With winter setting in, the Tufenkian Foundation sought to assist some of the refugee families in Syunik who were living in homes without access to natural gas for heating. We engaged several metalsmiths to build traditional wood burning stoves, including Vigen Gasparyan and his son Arkady, who were recently displaced from Stepanakert.

Together with our partners from the "Honorable and Secure Syunik" and the “We Are Our Mountains” NGOs, we supplied 200 Artsakh families with stoves to heat their homes along with over 220 metric tons of firewood.
